John ("JC") Cason of U.S. Window Films (above, center) was a featured presenter at the recent Hurricane Preparedness Summit in Jacksonville. It was hosted and coordinated by Florida State Senator Tony Hill (above, left). JC talked about all the advantages of 3M security film for hurricane preparedness. Window Films now a part of 3M’s new Renewable Energy Division, says local dealer J.C. Cason

3M has announced the formation of its new Renewable Energy Division. This organization will enable 3M to maximize the company’s technologies, products and responsiveness to the fast-changing renewable energy industry. The products within the new division will include products currently sold to the industry, new-to-the-world products invented for the renewable energy market, and products adapted from existing technologies. The division falls within 3M’s Industrial and Transportation Business and will focus on Energy Generation and Energy Management.

“3M’s new operation will serve the renewable energy market globally and bring the best products and technologies from a single source to customers worldwide,” said John "J. C." Cason, owner of U. S. Window Films, which serves residential and commercial customers throughout the entire Southeast, including North Florida and Southeast Georgia. Cason and his staff just returned from the annual 3M Prestige Dealers Conference in Las Vegas.

In Energy Management, 3M received the very first window film patent in 1966 and continues to be a world leader in window film technology over four decades later. Today, 3M’s window film portfolio has grown to include solar management, safety and security and decorative technology platforms that are sold in the Automotive, Commercial Building and Residential market segments throughout the world.

Hello Everyone,

My name is John Cason (but you can call me JC), my business is window film sales and installation. My company, US Window Films, Based in Jacksonville, FL - St. Augustine, FL area, sells and installs all types of solar-security-storm protection window films from industry leader 3M. We work with nationwide and international customers with multiple locations is Florida.

I've got many years in the business and wanted to share some of my window film industry knowledge with consumers, so I created this blog to help everyone learn more about the multiple advantages of window film.
